A Hunterdon County Grand Jury has indicted Katherine S. Kelly, 37, of Trenton, on one count of third-degree possession of heroin.
FLEMINGTON - Katherine S. Kelly, who had been named Hunterdon's Most Wanted in May, has been indicted on drug charges.
A Hunterdon County Grand Jury indicted Kelly, 37, of Trenton, in July on one count of third-degree possession of heroin. She had been arrested and charged in the borough on July 27.
If convicted, she faces up to five years in state prison and a fine of up to $35,000.
Kelly had been named to Hunterdon's Most Wanted list after failing to appear in court on separate drugs charges. An arrest warrant had been issued on May 6.
She was arrested in Lambertville on Feb. 6 after allegedly being found in possession of a hypodermic needle, glassine bags and several rocks of suspected crack cocaine, NJ Advance Media previously reported.
Kelly, who had multiple warrants for her arrest, was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and issued a motor-vehicle summons for driving while suspended, police said at the time.
