Jacksonville (FL) Edward White athlete Javaris Davis always felt he was close to a Wisconsin offer, having been recruited by the Badgers for well over a year. When the offer finally came Monday night, Davis, a cousin of UW quarterback D.J. Gillins, knew how big of a deal it was.
