PULLMAN — While Washington State’s defense took control early during the second day of spring practices Saturday, an offensive player later began to emerge. Robert Lewis, a 5-foot-10 wide receiver, found himself in multiple plays with the first-team offense, not only catching passes but the attention of his coaches and teammates, as well. And he was not alone.

Spring Football Notebook
Some out-of-state high schools are still enjoying a spring break and there were several Oklahoma City-area prospects that made it up to Stillwater on Thursday for the Oklahoma State spring practice. It was hard not to notice Midwest City All-State safety Will Sunderland. The 6-2, 195-pound Sunderland is about as good looking a prospect as you will find.
